Creating a New Script

Select the File -> New menu command or click the corresponding New toolbar button to create a new script. Use the list to select the type of the file you want to create. A new script file window will appear in the main area of the program. The default name of the file is Untitled. The icon next to the script name shows the type of script.

After the script window appears, you can start entering its lines of code.

If you change the settings of the script in the Properties pane, ExeScript Options lines will be added at the top of the script. These lines are necessary to maintain the properties in the future.
